Have you heard of The Turing Test?

It is a test in Artificial Intelligence to see if a human can determine whether they are talking to a machine or a human.

It is named after Alan Turing, British mathematician, wartime codebreaker and computer pioneer, who will be the face of the new £50 note entering circulation on his birthday, 23 June. Read more on him at the New Scientist here.
