Invisible Women: Exposing data bias in a world designed for me

A superb book that has something in it for everyone - I think it should be recommended / compulsory reading for all pupils and teachers. It is illuminating in the depth and breadth of the examples used to illustrate a bias that, whilst we may know exists, to have it presented so lucidly is quite thought-provoking indeed.

Particular chapters that I would recommend for students are:

Chapter 1 - for Land Economy applicants in particular, on urban planning and considerations of gender.

Chapter 3 - for Economists, on the impact of women’s work on GDP
